Section 1 · Next Trading Day

Next Trading Day

Use this when you have a completed Nifty 50 day and want to know what happened after days that looked similar. The app finds those past days using cash and derivatives data, then shows how the following session behaved.

Open Next Trading Day
1

Pick a session

Latest close, or any earlier trading date.

2

Choose the history

Set the lookback and how many similar days to use.

3

Read what happened

Openings, green/red closes and typical ranges.

Controls you can changeSession date, lookback window, similar sessions count and more.

Session date

Pick the completed Nifty 50 day you want to study. By default this is the latest available trading day.

Session start and end

Choose how far back in history to search for similar days. Longer windows mean more history; shorter windows stay closer to recent markets.

Quick lookback

One-tap windows such as 30d, 50d, 90d, 180d or 1y. These are calendar days, not a count of trading sessions.

Similar sessions

How many of the closest matching past days to include. More days = bigger sample. Fewer days = only the nearest matches.

Historical window

Changes the period used for opening and next-day results, without changing the setup day you picked.

Favourite setups

Pro: save your metrics, lookback, nearest-days count and intraday filters, then apply them again in one tap.

Data used to find similar daysThese describe the selected session. Matching uses their pattern automatically — you do not set each one by hand.

Close

Where Nifty 50 finished on the selected day.

Gap

How many points that day opened above or below the previous close. Positive = opened higher; negative = opened lower.

FII Cash

Foreign investors' cash buying minus selling. Positive means they bought more than they sold.

DII Cash

Indian institutions' cash buying minus selling. Positive means they bought more than they sold.

Net Cash

FII Cash + DII Cash together — one quick view of overall institutional cash flow.

VIX Close

India VIX at the close. Higher usually means the market expects bigger moves or more fear.

RSI

A 0–100 momentum reading. High can mean strong or stretched buying; low can mean weak or stretched selling.

FII Index Futures Daily OI

Same-day change in FII index futures open interest — today's move, not the cumulative total.

FII Index Options Net

Foreign investors' net index-options positioning. Useful context, not a stand-alone buy/sell signal.

FII Overall Futures

A combined summary of FII futures flow for the selected day.

How the next day openedThree exclusive opening buckets — gap up, gap down and flat open.

Gap up open

Days that opened above the previous close. Use Minimum gap up to keep only larger upside opens.

Gap down open

Days that opened below the previous close. Use Minimum gap down to keep only larger downside opens.

Flat open

Days that opened near the previous close. Use Flat range (± points) to decide how near counts as flat.

Opening scenario filtersNarrow the sample by where the next session opened versus the previous close, high and low.

Gap up

Next day opened above the previous close.

Gap down

Next day opened below the previous close.

Flat open

Next day opened at, or almost at, the previous close.

Above previous high

Next day opened above the previous day's high.

Below previous high

Next day opened below the previous day's high.

Above previous low

Next day opened above the previous day's low.

Below previous low

Next day opened below the previous day's low.

Between close and high

Next day opened in the upper part of the previous day's range.

Between low and close

Next day opened in the lower part of the previous day's range.

How to read the resultSimilar days, match score, green close % and average levels explained.

Similar days

Past sessions whose cash and derivatives data looked closest to your selected day.

Match score

A 0–100 closeness score. Higher means that past day looked more like your setup.

Closed green / red

How many matched next sessions finished up or down versus their open.

Green close %

Share of matched next sessions that closed above their open (green candle). Always read this with the sample size.

Average high

Average peak on the next day, measured in points from the previous close.

Average low

Average trough on the next day, measured in points from the previous close.

Average close

Average finish on the next day, measured in points from the previous close.

Filtered days

Matches left after you apply a historical window or opening scenario.

Match table filters

All days / Closed green / Closed red / Unchanged

Quick filters for the match list by how the next session finished.

Simple list / Table

Simple list is easier to scan; Table shows more columns and tap-to-sort headers.

Sort options

In Simple list you can sort by newest, most similar, or biggest next-day move.

Section 2 · Smart Money Analysis

Smart Money Analysis

Use this when you already have a condition to test. Add one or more metric filters, set the ranges you care about, and the app returns every historical session that fits. Results refresh automatically as you adjust filters.

Open Smart Money Analysis

Example question

When FII Cash was strongly positive, how did Nifty 50 behave the next day? Select FII Cash, set a buying range, then read the matching days.

1

Choose signals

One or more metrics — FII, VIX, OI, options and more.

2

Set the range

Min and max from real historical bounds per metric.

3

Read the odds

Gap, scenarios, match table and next-day stats.

Filters and controlsSignals, ranges, expiry day, date range and saved favourites.

Choose signals

Add one or more metric filters — FII Cash, VIX, derivatives OI, and so on. Combine them to narrow history; more filters usually means a smaller sample.

Selected range

Set min and max for each active signal. Ranges use real historical bounds from the database, not fixed placeholders.

Quick Smart Money

On Participant Activity, turn Today activity ON and use Analyze N signals in the session bias panel. Higher metrics get a positive filter; lower metrics get a negative filter — then results load automatically.

Expiry day

All days keeps everything. Weekly or Monthly keeps only sessions linked to that expiry type.

Date range

Limit history to your chosen start and end dates. Use All dates for the largest sample.

Favourites

Save a useful Smart Money filter setup and reopen the same filters later in one tap.

Every signal filter, in plain languagePositive usually means net buying; negative usually means net selling. Options and OI are context — not automatic direction calls.

Section 3 · Participant Activity

Participant Activity

A day-by-day tape of participant flows across cash, index futures, stock futures and open interest. Turn Today activity ON to see the latest session bias and jump straight into Smart Money Analysis with directional filters applied.

Open Participant Activity

Quick workflow

Set Today activity ON → review Higher and Lower metrics in the bias panel → tap Analyze N signals to open Smart Money with positive filters on Higher metrics and negative filters on Lower metrics.

1

Pick a window

Latest session only (1d) or a recent multi-day tape.

2

Read the bias

Higher vs lower day-over-day moves on today's metrics.

3

Analyze fast

One click to test those directions in Smart Money.

Controls you can changeWindow, Today activity, participant, segment and session bias.

Window

1d shows only the latest session. 7d, 15d and 30d slice the activity tape to recent calendar windows.

Today activity

Off uses normal participant + segment columns. ON shows today-activity metrics and opens the latest session bias panel.

Participant

Filter the table to All, FII, DII, Client or Pro. Pro unlocks participant-specific views on paid plans.

Segment

Cash, index futures, stock futures or open interest — or All to show every column in that scope.

Session bias

When Today activity is ON, see Bullish tilt / Bearish tilt / Balanced from day-over-day moves. Who and What chips narrow the Higher and Lower lists.

Analyze N signals

One click applies directional Smart Money filters for every Higher/Lower metric and opens matching historical results.

Reading the activity table

↑ / ↓ / → arrows

Each cell compares that metric to the previous trading day — not whether the raw value is positive or negative.

Colour

Green values are above zero; red values are below zero. Zero or missing shows neutral.

Avg row

On 7d, 15d and 30d windows, the footer averages Nifty close and each visible column across the window.

Section 4 · Correlation Charts

Correlation Charts

Compare one participant metric against Nifty50 close over time, or switch to Bias-colored Nifty to plot Nifty50 with green/red segments driven by the selected participant's net flow sign.

Open Correlation Charts
1

Pick a metric

Cash, daily OI, total OI or another plotted parameter.

2

Choose a window

From the last 14 days up to all available history.

3

Study co-movement

Toggle together/opposite shading and read Corr + Move.

Controls you can changePlot parameter, time window, legend toggles, metrics strip and zoom.

Plot parameter

Pick which participant metric to compare against Nifty50 close — cash, daily OI, total OI, and more.

View mode

Comparison plots the metric and Nifty50 on dual axes. Bias-colored Nifty draws only Nifty50 close with green segments when the selected participant is net positive and red when net negative.

Window

15D, 30D, 60D, 90D, 180D, 1Y, 2Y or ALL — calendar lookbacks from the latest session.

Participant & Segment

Filter which metrics appear in the add list and correlation matrix. OI narrows to daily and total open-interest columns. FII/DII/Client/Pro participant filters require Pro.

Correlation matrix

Pearson correlation vs Nifty close for each window. Click a row to plot that metric; click a column header to switch window.

Legend row

One line shows the active metric (left axis), Nifty50 close (right axis), and toggles for Moving together and Moving opposite shading.

Moving together / opposite

Green shading when both lines move the same way day-to-day; red when they diverge. Turn either layer off to declutter the chart.

Metrics strip

Corr, Move, Together, average filter value and Nifty change for the visible window — without leaving the chart.

Zoom and pan

Scroll to zoom, drag to pan when zoomed in, or use the on-chart controls to reset the view.

Common questions

FAQ

Short answers about Next Trading Day, Smart Money Analysis, Participant Activity and Correlation Charts.

What is the difference between Next Trading Day and Smart Money Analysis?+

Next Trading Day starts from one completed session and finds days that looked similar. Smart Money Analysis starts from a condition you choose — for example high FII Cash — and returns every historical day inside that range.

Which tool should I use first?+

Use Next Trading Day when you want context for today's or yesterday's setup. Use Smart Money Analysis when you already have a thesis to test, such as "strong FII buying" or "high VIX".

Is this a buy or sell signal?+

No. Both tools show how similar past days behaved next. History is context for planning, not a guaranteed tip or recommendation.

Why do percentages change when I change the lookback window?+

Different windows include different samples. A 50-day window can look very different from 1 year because the market regime, volatility and flows change over time.

What does "similar days" actually mean?+

The app compares cash and derivatives conditions — such as FII/DII flow, VIX and related positioning — and ranks past sessions by how closely they match the selected day or filter.

Can I combine multiple Smart Money filters?+

Yes. Each active metric filter must match for a day to count. The signal picker adds one filter at a time so the setup stays readable. For a fast multi-filter start, use Analyze N signals on Participant Activity after turning Today activity ON.

History is context, not a guarantee.

A high percentage from a small sample can mislead. Check how many days matched, try different windows, and always use your own stop-loss, risk limit and size before acting.
